Accomodations
Air-conditioned guestrooms supply a Mexican ambience, with tile floor, white walls and ceilings, and headboards sculpted into walls. Bathrooms include a tub/shower combination. Outside the bathroom is a recessed, mirrored vanity. Safe, a table and two chairs permit in-room dining. Hair dryers are available on request.
Honeymooners- Bottle of domestic champagne, fruit basket and room upgrade (based on availability).
Families-Kids 12 and under stay, play and eat FREE with full paying adults
(valid now through December 23rd, 2004).
All-Inclusive Option: Buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner daily. Snacks daily. Theme dinners. Nightly entertainment. Domestic select international drinks. Tennis. Non-motorized watersports including kayaks. Activities, and gratuities are included in the room rate.
Dining
Hacienda Santa Maria - White linens, blue-glass tableware, green plants, and a gentle fountain create a romantic atmosphere in this dinner-only, à la carte restaurant specializing in Mexican cuisine. Reservations required.
Los Cantaros - Shaded by a tall palapa , this open-air restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets of international fare.
Snack Peces - Open from noon to sunset, this spot serves fast foods such as burgers, hot dogs, and nachos.
Venezzia Restaurant - Specialty a la carte restaurant serving an Italian menu. Dress code is casual elegant and reservations are required.
Papagayo Bar - This poolside bar specializes in tropical drinks.
Lobby Bar - Open until 11 PM, the Lobby Bar includes a spacious lounge containing a stage where the activities/entertainment staff presents shows nightly except Saturday. On Saturday nights a Caribbean-theme buffet dinner on an oceanfront terrace precedes a show on the terrace stage.
Property Amenities
Great all inclusive hotel in the center of the hotel zone. Beautiful pools and large selection of recreational activities, home of the famous Continental Plaza Tennis Club. The Tennis Club features four clay courts and four conventional, all fully lighted.
The hotel also has a professional gym, making this an excellent hotel choice for active people. For romance, you can dine at the beachfront restaurant and dance in the lobby bar, or enjoy a gorgeous sunset on the beach.
Separate children and adults' activities provide alternatives to sunning and swimming. Adult activities include water aerobics, Ping-Pong tournaments, and Spanish lessons.
On Saturday nights, the resort's activities/entertainment staff presents a show on a beachside open-air stage. Other nights, shows are in the Lobby Bar.
Sand-colored, with pink accents and tile roofs, the 430-room hotel supplies a casual, relaxed atmosphere which begins in the four-story atrium lobby with its rustic ceiling of rough poles. Included among the resort's facilities and services are massage, a steam room, and a desk for booking excursions around Banderas Bay.
