La Véranda - Casual restaurant set in large wood house, with seating on wraparound sea-view veranda. Open-air bar/lounge featuring upholstered sitting areas and decorated with art and kitschy artifacts. Continental, American, low-calorie breakfasts. Lunch of French salads, soups, sandwiches, and main courses such as grilled lobster, grilled shrimp, beef tenderloin, crab-stuffed chicken breast. Dinner appetizers include frog legs, escargot, lobster ravioli, and main courses such as roasted duck, rack of lamb, veal sweetbreads, fish.
Le Bar Carbet - Poolside open-air spot under high white-wood ceiling with yellow corrugated-steel roof. Leatherette banquettes encircling round bar. Teak dining sets on terrace. Swim-up bar section. Lunch daily of salads such as crab-and-shrimp, Niçoise, smoked chicken with hearts of palm, tomato-and-mozzarella. Sandwiches include smoked salmon, tuna Creole, croque monsieur, burgers. Desserts, ice cream. Bar open until late night for wine, beer, tropical drinks, espresso.
Le BBQ - Two beachfront, open-air, white-wood pavilions with red corrugated-steel roofs, black-and-white tile floors. Grilled seafood, steaks, burgers. Open for lunch, dinner in winter season.
Bar Lonvilliers - Lobby bar serving cocktails, tropical drinks, brandies, cigars afternoons and evenings.
Le Zozo Bar - Beach bar featuring tropical drinks.

The resort's enchanting setting attracts an international clientele. Green hills cup the resort and fall to the sea in two rocky points that embrace turquoise Marcel Cove on the Caribbean. Tropical French-colonial style is reflected by the two-story, open-air, marble-floor lobby filled with rattan seating, red woodwork, a double staircase, artwork, and artifacts.
Amenity highlights: The resort features two pools and a 1,600-foot beach on calm-water Marcel Cove. One pool comprises two intersecting half-moon sections featuring a shallow swim-up bar social area containing underwater banquette seating. The other pool is an expansive freeform affair sided by an elevated teardrop-shape kids' pool and twin 10-person spa tubs within a rock formation topped by a wood gazebo. Rows of shade gazebos, one roofed by thick greenery, flank the pool.
Insider tip: In addition to the resort's small, complimentary fitness center, complimentary transport is provided for a half-mile trip up a hill behind the resort to a health spa containing a large fitness center. Use of the center, a steam room, and six-person spa tub is complimentary, as are aerobics classes. For fees, the spa offers massage, body treatments, facials, waxing, and hair and nail care.
The resort features expansive grounds for strolling. Neighboring Anguilla is visible from the beachfront during the day, and its lights are visible at night. The beach lies 150 yards from a large, open-air, marble-floor lobby. A walkway flanked by royal palm trees and lawns leads from the lobby to one of the resort's two pools. Beyond the pool, another path, flanked by flowering bushes and more lawns, leads to the beach.
A complimentary kids' club offers supervised activities for children age 4–12 during winter season. Also in winter season, live music is presented nightly adjacent to one of the resort's two pools. Two lobby computers provide dial-up Internet access for fees. An air-conditioned fitness center contains cardio machines, a universal gym, and free weights.
Several times weekly, an inexpensive shuttle, departing in mid-morning and returning in early afternoon, transports guests to the Dutch capital of Philipsburg 10 miles away or to the French capital of Marigot 8 miles away. Complimentary shuttle service is available nightly to a Philipsburg casino. A small, open-air marina center just outside the resort's lobby contains clothing boutiques, a small grocery, gift shops, art galleries, and a casual restaurant.
