Located in St. Martin, on the island's French side between a steep green hill and the northwest coast's Grand Case Bay, the bougainvillea-draped resort appeals to adults seeking informal home-away-from-home comfort and access to the sun, watersports, and the village of Grand Case's art shops and row of restaurants, known as the "gastronomic capital of the Caribbean."
Amenity highlights: At the resort's front, a blunt promontory separates two beaches. One is a narrow, mile-long strip washed by the sea up to the resort's seawall, above which are cushioned lounge chairs under thatch shades and seagrape trees. The other is a wider, 200-yard stretch furnished with lounge chairs, hammocks, and umbrellas. Atop the promontory is a 12-by-30-foot pool with a sea view from a 30-foot bluff.
Insider tip: The resort's many tropical plantings are identified by signs displaying their common and botanical names.
The Grand Case Beach Club sits at the end of a white-sand beach, just steps away from the quaint village of Grand Case, on the northwest coast of French St Martin.
